| EQ is a unique music ensemble housed at Newham Sixth Form College, East London, which combines different types of instrumentalists working with improvisation and group composition. Their FORTE project will be to create and deliver workshops based around a newly composed soundtrack for a silent film. |

The FORTE Project started a while ago. We recently completed a film project, writing the music to a dance for a camera piece created by CandoCo dance company along with students from the University of East London.
The film was made inside the Royal Festival Hall which is presently a building site. Some of the photo's that are going up shortly will show you what we all looked like with our hard hats on! Once finished we performed the music live to the film which was projected onto the front of the building.
Now we have a film and music we are ready to go into schools and deliver workshops to 10 and 11 year olds. |
