| The Youth Centre Babilonas, based in the Lithuanian capital of Vilnius since 1993, organises youth projects combining the arts with educational objectives. Its FORTE project will extend two of its general activities, the "Labyrinth of Weeks of Art" and the "Forum Theatre", and also work with teachers. |

| Air in Vilnius |
hello,
today in Vilnius we have -25 C temperature. Children don go to school. But the group in Babilonas camealmost all despite the realy cold. Tomorow it will be even colder, by they promised to come all together. |

| this week in babilonas we had a very interesting group from one of secondary schoools. they are the pupil council of that school, it was very nice to work with them, because they were highly motivated. |

| teacher training |
Babilonas olredy inplemented 2 parts of the training course 'Free self-education experience' a 4 day training course for secondary school teachers about non-formal education. With this training course we want to reache one of our tasks: to change the public oppinion about non-formal education.
We alredy worked with 2 groups:
On the 5 - 8 of October
and on 26 - 26 of October
One group was from schools from rural areas and other group from Vilnius Secondary schools.
In 2006 we will have the third group and are planing to find funding for follow - up, second step of the training cours. |

| Christmas in Babilonas |

It was a very nice day in Babilonas, we had the last presentation in our 'Week on arts' program this year. The presentation was about Christmas.
Today we had a christmas dinner with all the people working in Babilonas. It is always nice to gather together and come in to the Christmas mood

the activities of the project 'New non-formal opportunity' started in Babilonas.
the project a realization of our idea to work with disadvantaged youngters. today we started to work with a group f youngsters from one of the orphanages in Vilnius.
Alredy we got first problems with motivating the youngsters
